Today, we’re talking about “Lemon Tang” by Hearts2Hearts, the title track from their second mini album Lemon Tang. 🍋✨

“RUDE!” was released ahead of the album, and now “Lemon Tang” brings us into a brighter, sweeter and more refreshing side of Hearts2Hearts.
🍋 What Does “Lemon Tang” Mean?
The word “tang” describes a sharp, strong or pleasantly sour taste.
So “Lemon Tang” gives you the feeling of that bright, fizzy and slightly sour kick you get from a lemon.
But in the song, the idea goes a little deeper.
When you’re alone, things can feel sharp, cold or sour.
But when two people come together, those same feelings can become sweeter, fresher and more exciting.
The message feels like:
“On my own, I might be a little sour. But with you, everything tastes better.” 🍋💛
That sweet-and-sour contrast is what makes the title work so well.
☀️ A Refreshing Summer Song
“Lemon Tang” has a bright, refreshing dance-pop sound that immediately feels like summer.

Something else I found fun is how the lemon concept can have completely different personalities depending on the artist.
A lemon can feel sharp and intense.
But Hearts2Hearts turn it into something sweet, refreshing and youthful.
Their lemon still has that little tang.
But once friendship and attraction get mixed in, the flavor becomes softer and sweeter.

섞이다 means:

For me, “Lemon Tang” feels like one of those songs that captures summer without trying too hard.
It’s bright.

And it has just enough awkwardness to make the romance feel young and real.
I especially like the way the lyrics turn flavors into emotions.
A person can be sour.
A relationship can become sweeter.
Two people can slowly blend together.

That’s probably the best way I can describe “Lemon Tang.”
